Single Cover Design:

("Out of Time" by Ogechi)

The Collaboration

When LA-based artist and singer Ogechi reached out to me to design the cover art for her single Out of Time, I was excited to bring my digital painting skills into the project. Ogechi was drawn to my unique use of color and the abstract of my art, so this collaboration was a perfect fit to blend her musical storytelling with my artistic expression.

The Creative Process

Designing the cover for Out of Time was a digital journey from start to finish, using my iPad to create the artwork. I listened to the track on repeat, letting the sound and emotion shape every stroke on the screen. The song’s themes of time and reflection pushed me to work with pastel colors and abstract textures, capturing the essence of being caught between moments.

Bridging Music and Digital Art

What made this project so special was the connection between Ogechi’s music and my digital art. Every swipe of the Apple Pencil felt like a reflection of her sound, allowing me to create something visually that amplified the emotional depth of Out of Time. The result was a bold, digital interpretation of the song’s mood.

The Final Digital Artwork

The final piece is a vivid digital artwork that complements Ogechi’s song perfectly. I’m proud of how the digital medium allowed me to create something soft and unique, and I’m honored that Ogechi loved the outcome as much as I did.
